I can't thank David and Sue enough for the restoration of 'Molly' my newly acquired Collinson horse. David has restored her body/paintwork beautifully and Sue has done a grand job on her accessories...what a team. I had ideas on how I wanted her to lookand whilst David really listened to my ideas, he also offered his own knowledgable advice. This advice I took, and the end result speaks for itself! Dear David and Sue, I would just like to say a big thank you. I have been searching for a quality rocking horse for a long time and all there seems to be are the carnival face style horses which I feel are rather scary for a little girl and some of the quality I feel is questionable. I took a gamble buying off the internet as sometimes what you see and what you actually get are two different things. Well impressed is an understatement, the horse is of fantastic quality throughout with very realistic paint finish you can certainly tell that you are an equestrian artist David. When we received the horse my little girl was overjoyed with excitement and it was a very precious moment for all our family which we will treasure. I cannot thank you enough for all your help and honesty in supplying a one off horse.

Hi David, As you can see from the photograph, Serenade has arrived safely in his new home and is pictured here with his happy new owner, my wife Sue. He is a spectacular piece of art, a stylish piece of furniture and a wonderful plaything which I'm sure our grandchildren and their children will enjoy for many years to come. During the restoration/ preservation process l was kept informed on all progress.
Any decisions regarding colour choices, style of dapples, tack or to leave or embellish certain attributes was never undertaken without consultation with myself.
Holmebank has the ability to completely restore a horse, retaining the historical authenticity whilst at the same time meeting their clients vision.
Whether the horse needed a complete restoration or rebuild , a seamless merging of original with new or the original paintwork and patina to carefully once again, be revealed after decades of neglect, David and Sue have exceeded my expectations.
Not only that but all work was done in a timely and efficient manner.
I can highly recommend Holmebank Rocking Horses and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
